A three-stars campsite. In a natural setting of chestnut, oak, birch and pine trees, Le Coiroux campsite is situated at the heart of a 180 hectare leisure park, just 300 metres from a lakeside beach. Thanks to its hilltop location above Brive and Tulle (at an altitude of 450 m), the campsite
is gently brushed by a refreshing breeze in the evenings. Not only is it a great starting point for numerous walks and bike rides, it is also the gateway to a whole host of heritage sites and tourist attractions. Safe for children, calm, greenery, shady, large pitches for tents and caravans, temperate climate, ideally located for visiting the Dordogne, Quercy, the Lot.

200 m² heated swimming pool, with paddling area from 17/05 to 28/09, entertainments room, children´s play area for kids from aged 3 to 9, boules court, football pitch, volleyball and beach volleyball courts, 2 tennis courts (fee payable and courses in June to August, see directly with the site for info), table tennis tables (loan of bats), archery range (fee payable), numerous collective barbecue areas, baby-change and disabled toilets, television at the bar, snack bar, electronic games.

On-site services

All season : bread, pastries, newspapers, grocery (with fruit and vegetables in July / August), take-away meals, pizzas. From the start of the season: washing machine and tumble dryer (loan of iron with ironing boards available in the toilet block), hire of refrigerator, microwave, baby kit (cot, bath, high chair), hire of extra sheets and blankets.

Entertainment

Children´s (daytime) : from 30/06 to 31/08 for children from 4 to 11 (bilingual French/Dutch). Depending on the week : air day (creation of kites and air balloons), initiation to fishing, large-scale games, Olympic-style tournaments, track games, shows.
Teen/adult (day and evening) : from 30/06 to 31/08 depending on the week : fitness, aquagym, walks leaving from the campsite (network of forest paths), sports tournaments, boules competition, progressive archery lessons (fee payable). Depending on the weeks : concerts, folk groups, circus, karaoke, hypnosis, largescale games, remote control car track, theme meals and more.
Especially for teenagers : welcome get-together (without the parents),
made-to-measure programme every week. Sports tournaments, paintball excursion, bivouac, etc. Entertainment every night !

In the Leisure Park (fees charged) : restaurant open all year round, 27-hole golf course and driving range (reduced rates for campers and beginners´ and advanced lessons all year round, information from the site), the Parc Mayaventure (tree-walking), paint balling, bouncy castle area (reduced rates for campers) open from June to October, category 1 lake of 25 hectares, fishing authorised (regulated), horse rides and horse-drawn carriages in and from the Park, beginners 4x4 vehicle driving lessons leaving from the Park, rock climbing (5 km), canoeing/kayaking on the Dordogne (25 km).
Approx. 5 mins away : Aubazine and its Cistercian Abbey (12th century).
Approx. 30 mins away : Collonges la Rouge, Turenne and Curemonte (three villages ranked among the most beautiful in France), the Gimel and Murel Waterfalls.
